INDOOR SERVICE STRATEGY:
Our plan to host an indoor service will be the same approach to our outdoor service plans. We will gather prayerfully, faithfully, and responsibly.

If you curious as to the guidelines for churches in the state of Washington here is a link for you:

https://www.governor.wa.gov/sites/default/files/Phase%201-3%20-%20Religious%20and%20faith-based%20orgs%20FINAL_6%2018%202020.pdf

We will continue to follow the approach and guidance of our denomination which is to comply and not defy the guidelines set forth for churches.

Negative publicity in the name of Jesus or in the name of your church rarely leads to a positive outcome in the community you long to make an impact in. - Dennis Pust (Assistant Field Director)

By following the direction and guidance of our denomination it frees us from being too focused on guidelines and keeps our attention to what is most important proclaiming and worshipping the name Jesus with our actions, thoughts, and words.

We want to share with you what to expect if you attend an in-person/indoor gathering.
We are not going back to the way things were. We don’t want to give you the idea that we are just turning on some lights and swinging the doors open. If 2020 has taught us anything is that nothing is business as usual.

We approached our outdoor service with a marathon mindset and a commitment to excellence for the glory of God. We are committed to the same approach for an indoor service. There will be things that are different and new but the Lord we are gathering to worship for remains the same. He remains the same yesterday, today, and forever.
With that said let me share with you what to expect at the indoor service:

-Masks are required throughout the service. We understand that masks are a divisive subject, but they are required. If the requirement of a mask is too much of a hurdle for you to worship in person we hope that you will attend our online service.

-Under Washington’s guidelines attendance for our indoor service will be kept at 25% capacity which is 25 people.

-We will host an overflow area downstairs if we exceed capacity.

-We will currently not be hosting children’s classes or the bible study we were doing before church until we further establish the new service structure

-Social distancing can be difficult in our building but will need to be done. Our chair set up inside will be arranged to meet social distance guidelines. We encourage fellowship before and after church to be done outside weather permitting. Also, we ask that people not congregate in the entry way.

-Finally, you can expect a clean and sanitized environment to worship in.

We are committed not to patch something together but to do online and in person worship with excellence as unto the Lord with both the short term and long term solutions in mind.
With that said, if you are wanting to get involved in helping with either church online or in person worship we would love to connect with you on how you can use your gift.

We are going to do everything within our control to have a worship experience that is both honoring to God and safe for people come. As we all know there are things out of our control. No place is full proof from disease, violence, natural disaster etc.. Anytime you enter a car you assume risk. Anytime who go the store you assume risk. The church is no different.
We understand the realities of our church.
We have a small building which makes social distancing difficult
Proper air flow can be challenging in our building
We have at risk members with vulnerable immune systems
We will embrace our realities and tackle them head on both faithfully and responsibly.

Now that we have established the “how” we will worship in person let us get back to the most important aspect, the “Who”.
I said this back in May. There will be those who agree and disagree with the “how”, the “when” and “where” we worship. What truly matters most is Who we are gathering to worship not the how, the when, or where.
A divided world needs to see a united church.
                                                          -Craig Groeschel
Let us keep our unity on Jesus and continue to fix our eyes on Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith.
I am asking you church for your prayers, patience, and perseverance as we continue to live through this historic time.
Let us continue to be a church that is gospel driven, Christ-centered, and community focused.
May God bless you and may He continue to be glorified through you.
